Pisanki Workshops 2014!

Made by 2013 workshop participants.

It’s that time of year again and I’m bringing back this fun workshop! “Pisanki” uses a very old decorating method where hot wax is drawn on an egg to create intricate patterns that is then dyed wonderfully vibrant colors. This technique is used in Poland and is most famous with eggs and designs from Ukraine. I am offering two Saturday workshops this year at my studio in West Seattle. Each session is limited to 5 participants.

Please contact me if you have an older child who would like to participate.

  1. Alisa – I am looking for a spot on someone’s table at this Spring Bazaar to sell our family cookbooks ! Yes we put together an almost 100 page book with mom’s recipes, wigilia soup & pierogi, etc. and we only needed 50 but the minimum order had to be 100 so I have a bout 46 5×8 cookbooks left over. Let me know how this would work or even if you will be there, OK?

Looking forward to seeing you, Teresa Malinowski

    • Hi Teresa, yes, I’ll be there! I’m coordinating the tables for the whole event again. Do you want your own space (1/2 table) or did you want to be able to add your books to someone else’s space? I can send you a separate email too.
